England is a recent graduate of the Factual Fast Track training scheme funded by the BBC, Channel 4 and S4C. He joins S4C after 22 years working in TV production, most recently as executive producer of several episodes of BBC One&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Our Lives<\/em> strand.<\/p>\n<p>In this senior commissioning role, England will focus on developing the channel&#8217;s co-productions, premium limited series, formats and international slate of content.<\/p>\n<p>England said: &#8220;I&#8217;m excited to be joining S4C at this significant moment in its history.<br \/>\n&#8220;At a time when the broadcaster is celebrating its 40th anniversary and is developing ambitious new plans in unscripted.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I look forward to collaborating with the vibrant production community and building new creative partnerships whilst being an unabashed cheerleader for Welsh talent in front of and behind the camera.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>S4C&#8217;s chief content officer, Llinos Griffin-Williams, said: &#8220;I am delighted to welcome Iwan to my growing commissioning team as a valued creative voice.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Well respected, with a passion for great storytelling, his experience and understanding of shaping ambitious and engaging content as well as nurturing talent means he will undoubtedly be a huge asset within the team as we grow our unscripted offerings for our audiences.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>S4C has made another new hire as part of the creative refresh within its ongoing commissioning strategy, this time for unscripted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":350,"featured_media":18928,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pmpro_default_level":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[69],"tags":[2078],"class_list":["post-18927","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","","category-top-stories","tag-s4c","pmpro-has-access"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.7 -
