Leading its catalog, the brand-new competition series A Cut Above<\/em> sees 12 of the world\u2019s best chainsaw carvers turn ordinary logs into extraordinary works of art. Each week, sculptor Katharine Dowson and\u00a0chainsaw carver Ryan Cook\u00a0choose who out-carved the rest and send one person home.<\/p>\n A Cut Above<\/em>\u2019s commissioning broadcasters are Discovery Canada, where it is currently airing, and Discovery US, where it has just launched.<\/p>\n Distribution360 will also be presenting a second season of Race Against the Tide<\/em>, in which world-class sand sculpting teams return to face the highest tides in the world. Ratings on CBC for season two were up significantly on season one. CBC has commissioned a third season.<\/p>\n Also renewed at CBC and available at MIPCOM, Best in Miniature<\/em> tasks expert miniaturists with building their dream home in miniature form, creating it room by room in painstaking detail at 1:12 scale.<\/p>\n Rounding out the MIPCOM slate is Blown Away<\/em> season two. The show sees glass blowers compete to create stunning works of art out of glass in themed channels. Season three recently launched on Netflix and reached top ten status in all key markets.
