Two Rivers Media and Chateau TV have been commissioned to produce Escape to the Chateau: Secret France<\/em> (w.t.) for Channel 4.<\/p>\n

The new series, the second spin-off of Escape to the Chateau<\/em>, will follow Dick and Angel Strawbridge as they adventure across France and share some of the secrets they learn by heading off the beaten track.<\/p>\n

Two Rivers Media and Chateau TV also produce Escape to the Chateau<\/em> and Escape to the Chateau: Make Do and Mend<\/em>. All3Media International will distribute Escape to the Chateau: Secret France<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHaving worked on all things Chateau<\/em> since its inception, I have seen the appetite for the brand flourish, with the continued success internationally of Escape to the Chateau<\/em> as well as the popularity of the spin-off series Escape to the Chateau: Make Do and Mend<\/em>,\u201d said Lizi Wootton, head of popular factual at Two Rivers. \u201cWe are thrilled to continue to bring the escapism, aspiration, warmth, accessibility and fun, which is the beating heart of the Chateau<\/em> series, to the travel genre. As Dick and Angel go beyond the chateau\u2019s gates, their unique ability to seek out the unexpected and uncover the extraordinary will combine with their innate sense of adventure to unlock the secrets of France.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Strawbridges added, \u201cEscape to the Chateau<\/em> has been our family journey; our decision to buy a chateau with no water, electricity, heating or sewage has taken us on an adventure of a lifetime, and we could never have imagined what would unfold. The good, the bad and the ugly\u2026 we have cherished every second and love that we have a visual record to show Arthur and Dorothy when they\u2019re older. We\u2019re so grateful to everyone who has supported us. Lizi at Two Rivers has worked with us since the beginning; ETTC is in her DNA!
