{"id":18742,"date":"2022-09-16T10:09:21","date_gmt":"2022-09-16T14:09:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/blink-films-appoints-laura-jones-creative-director\/"},"modified":"2022-09-16T10:09:21","modified_gmt":"2022-09-16T14:09:21","slug":"blink-films-appoints-laura-jones-as-creative-director","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/blink-films-appoints-laura-jones-as-creative-director\/","title":{"rendered":"Blink Films Appoints Laura Jones as Creative Director"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>U.K. factual indie Blink Films, a Tin Roof Media company, has appointed BAFTA- and RTS Award-winning executive producer Laura Jones as creative director.<\/p>\n<p>Jones will be responsible for winning further business and executive producing projects, with a particular focus on building the company\u2019s slate of access-driven international series.<\/p>\n<p>Jones joined Blink Films as an executive producer in 2021 and has since originated and executive produced projects such as <em>Miriam and Alan: Lost in Scotland<\/em> for Channel 4, which is currently in production on a second season; <em>Ken and Barbie Killers: The Lost Murder Tapes<\/em> for discovery+ and ID; the feature documentary <em>Secrets of the Oligarch Wives<\/em> for CBS and Paramount+; and <em>Tut\u2019s Toxic Tomb<\/em> for Channel 4, National Geographic and Science Channel.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining Blink, Jones co-founded Antidote Productions, where she was responsible for originating and executive producing content including <em>Professor Green: Suicide and Me<\/em>, <em>Olly Alexander: Growing up Gay<\/em> and <em>What Makes a Woman<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Justine Kershaw and Dan Chambers, co-founders of Blink Films, said: \u201cLaura is an outstanding producer and great creative force. Since she arrived, she has created and overseen multiple high-profile series, with more to come.
