{"id":18712,"date":"2022-09-07T11:35:16","date_gmt":"2022-09-07T15:35:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/blue-ant-media-buys-mike-holmes-catalog\/"},"modified":"2022-09-07T11:35:16","modified_gmt":"2022-09-07T15:35:16","slug":"blue-ant-media-buys-mike-holmes-catalog","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/blue-ant-media-buys-mike-holmes-catalog\/","title":{"rendered":"Blue Ant Media Buys Mike Holmes Catalog"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Blue Ant Media has entered an agreement with The Holmes Group to acquire the extensive library of series and specials from Mike Holmes for Homeful.<\/p>\n<p>The deal gives Blue Ant Media ownership of more than 200 hours of programming from the past two decades, including all seasons of <em>Holmes on Homes<\/em>, <em>Holmes Makes It Right<\/em> and <em>Holmes Inspection<\/em>, as well as the specials <em>Holmes for the Holidays<\/em>, <em>Holmes in New Orleans<\/em> and <em>Mike\u2019s Ultimate Garage<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>As current licenses expire, the programming will launch on FAST exclusively on Blue Ant Media\u2019s new streaming channel Homeful, which showcases real estate, design and decor projects. Blue Ant International now holds the distribution rights to Holmes\u2019 catalog, which will debut at MIPCOM 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Blue Ant Media will also commission new original programming with Holmes and his children, Michael Holmes Jr. and Sherry Holmes, for its Canadian TV platforms and Homeful.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor over 20 years, Mike Holmes has been the authority on home renovation,\u201d said Jamie Schouela, president of global channels and media at Blue Ant Media. \u201cBlue Ant is thrilled to be acquiring his hit TV catalog and partnering with Mike on new original series.
