The Walt Disney Company EMEA has revealed a brand-new slate of five unscripted U.K original titles for Disney+.<\/p>\n
Among the new U.K. originals that will premiere on Disney+ in EMEA and the Asia Pacific, Brawn; The One Pound Formula 1 Team<\/em> (w.t.) is a four-part documentary series that sees Keanu Reeves tell the remarkable story of the British Formula 1 team that cost just \u00a31. It will include contributions from British F1 driver Jenson Button and Ross Brawn, who led the team to victory.<\/p>\n From the All3Media indie North One, the series is developed and produced by showrunner Simon Hammerson and directed by Daryl Goodrich. Executive producers are Reeves, Sean Doyle and Neil Duncanson.<\/p>\n Reeves, who is conducting the interviews, as well as narrating the series, said: \u201cI am honored to be a part of telling the incredible story of Brawn GP and their remarkable F1 Championship season in 2009 with those who lived it in this four-part documentary series. It has been great to have the support of Disney+ and producing partnership with North One to bring this story to life.\u201d<\/p>\n The tentatively titled Wagatha Christie<\/em>, the three-parter will feature exclusive access to Coleen Rooney alongside interviews with family, friends and key players involved in the resulting trial. It will reveal how Rooney turned amateur online sleuth to find an explanation for why private stories concerning herself and her family continued to appear in the media, leading to her infamous Instagram post and the High Court defamation cases brought against her by Rebekah Vardy. Wagatha Christie<\/em> will be produced by Lorton Entertainment in association with Dorothy Street Pictures.<\/p>\n Finding Michael<\/em>, from Banijay UK company Shine TV, is a feature-length original documentary about the disappearance of Michael Matthews, who became the youngest Briton to summit Mount Everest at 22\u2014but three hours after he reached the top of the world, he disappeared and his body has never been found. More than two decades later, his brother, British entrepreneur and broadcaster Spencer Matthews, sets out on a journey to Everest to find him. The doc was developed by Shine TV with The Natural Studios, a joint venture with Banijay, attached as co-producers. Executive producers are Jon Swain and Tom Hutchings for Shine TV; and Bear Grylls and Delbert Shoopman for The Natural Studios. Tom Beard is directing.<\/p>\n In Vogue: The 1990s<\/em> tells the inside story of the fashion that defined a decade and the decade that inspired it. From Vogue Studios and Raw, this docuseries offers access to Vogue\u2019s Anna Wintour, Edward Enninful, Hamish Bowles and Tonne Goodman, as well as the \u201990s most influential names.<\/p>\n Wintour said: \u201cThe \u201990s was such an exciting and important decade for fashion. It was the period when fashion entered the mainstream\u2013when it became inescapable, culturally relevant and full of iconoclasm and expression and difference. The personalities were larger than life too. This series will capture all of that and I’m thrilled it’s coming to Disney+.\u201d<\/p>\n Camden<\/em> is a four-part original documentary series from Lightbox in association with Day One Pictures and directed by Asif Kapadia. It will show how a small corner of North London changed music as we know it, exploring the untold stories of how the lives and careers of many of today\u2019s most iconic music acts were shaped by Camden, alongside some of the careers that were broken by it.<\/p>\n Kapadia said: \u201cI\u2019m a born and bred North Londoner, and Camden has been a key part of my life; I\u2019ve had all sorts of experiences there: good, great\u2026 and edgy. This series celebrates an ever-evolving music scene in a unique place that has always been at the forefront of counterculture and has a musical legacy to match anywhere in the world.
