The HISTORY Channel\/A+E Networks has partnered with the Roybal Film and Television Production Magnet Fund, with A+E Networks Group\u2019s Paul Buccieri joining the Roybal advisory board.<\/p>\n
The fund was established by George Clooney, Grant Heslov and Creative Artists Agency\u2019s Bryan Lourd to support the Roybal Film and Television Production Magnet academy that they founded to drive change across the entertainment industry for students from underserved communities. Buccieri, president and chairman of A+E Networks Group, will work alongside the trio and fellow board members Kerry Washington, Eva Longoria, Mindy Kaling, Don Cheadle, Nicole Avant, Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner and Jim Gianopulos.<\/p>\n
As part of the multiyear partnership, The HISTORY Channel\/A+E Networks will provide classroom resources and curriculum developed to meet the standards prescribed by the state of California and the University of California system, plus offer students access to special screenings and guest speakers. Working in collaboration with the Roybal Film and Television Production Magnet Fund and the school, the company will also develop learning sessions led by A+E Networks creatives and company leaders.<\/p>\n
