The docuseries delves into the personal stories of people who have survived face-to-face meetings with murderers.<\/p>\n<p>Viewers will hear from Rhonda Stapley, who was attacked by Ted Bundy; Cindy Brown, whose husband Bobby Joe Long battered her and killed ten women in Florida; Mo Lea, who survived Peter Sutcliffe, also known as the Yorkshire Ripper; and Tony Antonucci, who took up an apprenticeship with local contractor John Wayne Gacy, only to find himself facing the same grisly fate as Gacy\u2019s 33 other victims.<\/p>\n<p>The series debuted in North America in March as <em>Close Encounters with Evil<\/em> following a deal with A+E Networks.<\/p>\n<p>Koulla Anastasi, commercial director of Woodcut International, said, \u201cWe have had tremendous interest in <em>Surviving a Serial Killer<\/em> following its U.K. debut last year and are delighted to announce these deals with such premium platforms as the true-crime genre continues to engage audiences worldwide.
