Twenty Six 03 has been commissioned by the BBC for a pair of factual titles, including Emergency Vets<\/em> (w.t.) for BBC One Daytime and BBC England.<\/p>\n

A brand-new series, Emergency Vets<\/em> will be shot in and around a veterinary referral hospital in Stockton-on-Tees, England. It will showcase the vets, nurses and ancillary staff who provide care for the animal hospital\u2019s patients 24\/7.<\/p>\n

Helen Munson, commissioning editor for BBC Daytime, said: \u201cI\u2019m delighted to be working with Twenty Six 03, a North East-based production company, on this new series, set in the North East, celebrating the amazing skill and dedication of the staff at a world-class veterinary referrals center. What a great way to showcase the talent in the region. Oh, and there will most certainly be some cute pets too!\u201d<\/p>\n

Aisling O\u2019Connor, head of TV commissioning for BBC England, said: \u201cBBC England is growing, developing and expanding its scope to make sure we\u2019re reflecting people in every corner of the country. This series will be emotional and relatable to all animal lovers, and I\u2019m excited to see what the audience makes of it. BBC England already has a good working relationship with Twenty Six 03, and we look forward to expanding our work with them in the North East with this new series.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to the Emergency Vets<\/em> order, Twenty Six 03 has been commissioned for a fourth season of Angels of The North<\/em> for BBC Three and BBC England. The new season will see cameras return to find Sammyjo at her salon and longtime family friend Shane at his tattoo and piercing studio as they continue to run their respective businesses in the North East. It will also see professional boxer Ewan face his toughest challenge yet at Sunderland\u2019s Stadium of Light.<\/p>\n

Antonia Hurford-Jones and Duncan Gray, Twenty Six 03 executive producers, said: \u201cIt\u2019s really exciting to be expanding Twenty Six 03\u2019s slate with two fantastic yet very different programs. We can\u2019t wait to introduce viewers to the remarkable veterinary staff at specialist animal hospital Wear Referrals, who quite literally work round the clock caring for the most in-need animals from all over the U.K. It\u2019s wonderful to see Angels of The North<\/em> going from strength to strength with Sammyjo, Shane and the team this series.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rachel Ashdown, entertainment commissioner for BBC Three, said: \u201cWe are thrilled that Sammyjo and Shane will once again open up the salon and the shop to the BBC Three audience and introduce us to more new staff and friends.\u201d<\/p>\n
