iZen, the Spanish subsidiary of Newen Studios, has set up the documentary production company CAPA Spain with the Emmy and Peabody Award winner Tom\u00e1s Oca\u00f1a.<\/p>\n
CAPA Spain will work to develop international documentaries in Spain and throughout the wider Hispanic market. Oca\u00f1a, a director, executive producer and investigative journalist whose credits include the docuseries Lucy in the Spiderweb<\/em>, will serve as head of CAPA Spain.<\/p>\n Oca\u00f1a founded his own production venture, The Facto Productions, in 2017. As an investigative journalist, Oca\u00f1a has participated in pieces about the Panama Papers and Swiss Leaks. He has also taken part in scripted projects such as El Chapo<\/em> (Netflix).<\/p>\n Oca\u00f1a said: \u201cCAPA Spain was born to tell the best stories by combining the rigor of journalism and the narrative of fiction. It is meant to be a guarantee of quality, rigor and fast-paced storytelling to produce highly relevant docuseries.
