Big Little Fish Television has appointed Peter Usher as its first creative director.<\/p>\n

Based at the company\u2019s new West London HQ, Usher will oversee and grow the company\u2019s talent relationships while focusing on returnable factual series and factual-entertainment formats. He joins Big Little Fish from RDF\u2019s entertainment label Fizz, where he served as co-creative director.<\/p>\n

Usher\u2019s credits include Tipping Point<\/em>, Sing If You Can<\/em> and Britain\u2019s Most Expensive Home.\u00a0<\/em>At Big Little Fish, Usher will report to Mark Procter, CEO. The company\u2019s recent productions include the Channel 4 docuseries Married to a Psychopath<\/em> and the David Jason-fronted history film The Lancaster Bomber at 80<\/em>, as well as global commissions The Curse of the Highgate Vampire<\/em> and the ten-part farming ob-doc Born Mucky<\/em> for the Discovery Network.<\/p>\n

Procter said: \u201cBig Little Fish launched just weeks before the pandemic, but despite these most challenging times, we\u2019ve had incredible success and support from channels and commissioners. Now to be talking about bringing in such a creative talent is thrilling. It\u2019s a new chapter for BLFTV and the projects Peter\u2019s already working on are hugely exciting.\u201d<\/p>\n
