National Geographic has revealed a host of personality-driven series to inspire curiosity and wonder, starring the likes of Derek Hough, Kristen Kish, Christian Cooper, Jeff Jenkins and more.<\/p>\n
The new slate includes Restaurants at the End of the World<\/em>, from World of Wonder (RuPaul\u2019s Drag Race<\/em>) and starring adventurous chef and entrepreneur Kristen Kish, who won the tenth season of Top Chef<\/em>. In the series, she will travel the world in search of the people, places, cultures and traditions behind the world\u2019s most remote restaurants.<\/p>\n Also on the slate is Dance the World with Derek Hough<\/em>, produced by Walt Disney Television Alternative. Hough will go on a journey to discover the roots of the most popular dance styles and trends, learning about the cultures, environments and people who created them.<\/p>\n An untitled Jeff Jenkins project from Hit + Run is in the works as well. Jenkins, a travel blogger and influencer who had never stepped foot on a plane until he was 20 years old, will embark on a global journey to seek out destinations and adventures outside of his comfort zone. He will spend one week completing an adventure he never thought he could do.<\/p>\n Farming is Life<\/em>, from Nobody\u2019s Hero and ITV America, will follow farming expert and influencer Indy Srinath, a.k.a. Indy Officinalis, as she encounters aspiring farmers. In a tour across North America, Srinath will help aqua, rooftop, indoor, homestead, suburban and foraging farmers.<\/p>\n Starring lifelong birder Christian Cooper, Lucky 8\u2019s Extraordinary Birder<\/em> will take viewers into the wild and unpredictable world of birds. Cooper will brave stormy Alaskan seas for puffins, trek through rainforests in Puerto Rico for parrots and scale a bridge in Manhattan for a peregrine falcon.<\/p>\n Science Fair: The Series<\/em> rounds out the new slate. Inspired by the Emmy Award- and SXSW Audience Award-winning documentary Science Fair<\/em>, the series follows the ups and downs of some of the most brilliant young innovators, engineers and scientists on the road to the International Science and Engineering Fair. Cristina Costantini and Darren Foster return to direct the series, which is being produced by Muck Media.<\/p>\n The six new series will premiere on one of National Geographic\u2019s linear channels or on Disney+.
