The film will seek to discover how life rebuilt itself after the devastating event.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas Cirotteau (<em>Lady Sapiens<\/em>) will direct <em>After the Asteroid<\/em>. \u00a0Fabrice Frank and C\u00e9line Payot-Lehmann executive produce for Pernel Media.\u00a0Xavier Grimault, Amandine Picault and Catherine Alvaresse, head of documentaries for France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions, commissioned the film, which will debut on France 5\u2019s prime-time slot Science Grand Format.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis film is a great human and scientific adventure, promising new revelations combined with innovative CGI,\u201d said Picault.<\/p>\n<p>Frank added, \u201cUsing completely new 3D and VFX technology, our paleontological investigation will immerse viewers in the corridors of time before prehistory, discovering the origins of the modern world.
