{"id":18047,"date":"2022-05-06T10:41:14","date_gmt":"2022-05-06T14:41:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/collective-media-group-producing-new-season-air-warriors\/"},"modified":"2022-05-06T10:41:14","modified_gmt":"2022-05-06T14:41:14","slug":"collective-media-group-producing-new-season-of-air-warriors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/collective-media-group-producing-new-season-of-air-warriors\/","title":{"rendered":"Collective Media Group Producing New Season of Air Warriors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Collective Media Group, launched by former ViacomCBS International senior executives Claire McArdle and Rebecca Knight, is producing the latest season of the Smithsonian Channel\u2019s <em>Air Warriors<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Now in its tenth season, the series reveals the origin stories of the U.K. and U.S. militaries\u2019 most iconic aircraft through rare, archival footage and testimonies from those who fly and maintain the planes. <em>Air Warriors<\/em> was previously produced in-house by the Smithsonian Channel.<\/p>\n<p>The new season is executive produced by McArdle, Knight and Bob Strange for Collective Media Group and series produced by Andrew Barron. Passion Distribution distributes it internationally.<\/p>\n<p>The new season of <em>Air Warriors<\/em>, which will feature two British planes and four from the U.S., is set to debut on May on the Smithsonian Channel in the U.K.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very proud to be making this iconic series for Smithsonian Channel,\u201d said Knight, co-CEO of Collective Media Group. \u201cThe channel\u2019s global reach means it is an ideal partner for Collective and a perfect fit when it comes to our ambition of growing our high-quality, premium factual slate. The series investigates the engineering, science and technology of these iconic aircraft.
