Sister has taken a minority stake in Dorothy Street Pictures, which is behind the upcoming Pamela Anderson documentary for Netflix.<\/p>\n
The nonfiction production company will remain fully independent but form \u201ca unique alignment with Sister.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dorothy Street\u2019s Julia Nottingham (Skate Kitchen<\/em>, XY Chelsea<\/em>) and her team of documentary filmmakers, including Emmy nominee Becky Read (Three Identical Strangers<\/em>, Twas the Fight Before Christmas<\/em>), will continue to develop and produce television and feature projects in the nonfiction space, as well as grow its scripted slate.<\/p>\n Julia Nottingham, founder of Dorothy Street Pictures, said: \u201cAt Dorothy Street Pictures, we believe in story first and are overjoyed to be supported by a company quite literally built around storytellers and the desire to empower the independent creative talent we all work with.
