Curiosity has unveiled its 2022 slate of original series and feature-length documentary films with more originals for Curiosity Stream and Curiosity Channel than last year.<\/p>\n
Several original fan favorites will return for additional seasons soon, including Doug to the Rescue<\/em>, featuring drone pilot Doug Thron as he explores new ways to use drone technology for conservation in Africa, and 4th and Forever<\/em>, taking viewers to the birthplace of \u201cFriday night lights\u201d in Texas.<\/p>\n Also set to debut soon are Engineering the Future<\/em>, narrated by David Oyelowo, exploring the technologies that could revolutionize life, and Rescued Chimpanzees of the Congo with Jane Goodall<\/em>, taking viewers behind the scenes of the groundbreaking efforts to attempt the most intensive chimpanzee release in the world.<\/p>\n Following Curiosity\u2019s Emmy-nominated series Secrets of the Solar System<\/em>, the brand-new Secrets of the Universe<\/em> is slated to premiere in March. It will serve as a guide to the universe, as told by the people behind the biggest missions in space exploration, including the James Webb Telescope and NASA\u2019s Artemis mega-rocket.<\/p>\n The original series Tycoons<\/em> will unpack stories of the world\u2019s richest entrepreneurs, including names such as Bezos, Gates and Kardashian.<\/p>\n Originals that already premiered in January include Evolve<\/em>, featuring biologist and adventurer Patrick Aryee; Titans: The Rise of Wall Street<\/em>, examining the drama, power, opulence and missteps of American finance; Red Elvis: The Cold War Cowboy<\/em>, setting the story of an American pop star caught between superpowers to a soundtrack; and Inside the Mind of a Con Artist<\/em>, probing some of the world\u2019s most notorious cheats.<\/p>\n \u201cEvery year just gets better,\u201d said Clint Stinchcomb, president and CEO of Curiosity. \u201cWe are delighted to take viewers to a new place every week with our phenomenal lineup of truly original and innovative factual storytelling, unlike anywhere else in streaming.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re ecstatic to be able to offer Curiosity Stream viewers an original programming slate of this magnitude and caliber\u2014especially in the midst of a pandemic,\u201d said Rob Burk, head of original content for Curiosity. \u201cThe increasing number of tentpole original series and feature docs we\u2019ve been investing in are really beginning to bear fruit now, and we couldn\u2019t be prouder of the results.
