Beyond Rights has scored a raft of deals for more than 650 hours of unscripted content in North America, where it will debut on linear TV, AVOD platforms and FAST channels.<\/p>\n
In the U.S., the Smithsonian Channel picked up the docuseries Elizabeth<\/em>, detailing Queen Elizabeth II\u2019s seven-decade rule. Using archival footage and interviews with prime ministers, royal household members and close friends, the series builds a personal and memorable picture of the monarch.<\/p>\n The Weather Channel acquired several titles featuring jobs often affected by the weather, including Lords of the Ocean<\/em>, season ten of Highway Thru Hell<\/em> and season six of Heavy Rescue<\/em>, as well as renewals for earlier seasons of the latter two.<\/p>\n Blue Ant Media took World’s Scariest Hauntings<\/em> for its new Haunt TV FAST channels in Canada and the U.S. and acquired packages for its Canadian and U.S. Crimetime channels. With a total of nearly 200 hours, the packages feature true-crime titles such as Confessions of a Serial Killer<\/em>; Encounters with Evil<\/em>; Murder, Lies and Alibis<\/em>; and The Real Narcos<\/em>.<\/p>\n In addition, Blue Ant Media signed separate deals for Massive Engineering Mistakes<\/em> and Abandoned Engineering<\/em> for its Cottage Life channel, as well as for All for One with Debbie Travis<\/em>, Building La Dolce Vita<\/em>, Moving the McGillivrays<\/em>, Love It Or List It: Brilliant Builds<\/em>, Love It Or List It UK<\/em> and Love It Or List It Australia<\/em>.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the environmentally-focused streaming service EarthxTV acquired Aussie Snake Wranglers<\/em>, Saved and Remade<\/em> and Money for Nothing<\/em>.<\/p>\n Lastly, BYU picked up season three of the youth reality series Gym Stars<\/em>.<\/p>\n Sherry Fynbo, Beyond Rights\u2019 EVP sales for North America, said: \u201cWhile it\u2019s always satisfying to place standout titles and volume packages with broadcasters, these new deals speak to our ability to both maintain long-running relationships with established broadcasters in key territories and to seek out exciting new opportunities for our content \u2013and, by extension, for our producer partners\u2013in the rapidly changing TV landscape.
