Macaulay Culkin is teaming up with Lightbox to explore what it means to be middle-aged in a brand-new doc series.<\/p>\n
Macaulay Culkin\u2019s Midlife Crisis<\/em> will see the actor\u2014best known as a child star from the Home Alone<\/em> franchise\u2014travel the world as he explores, and celebrates, what it means to be middle-aged and whether life really does begin at 40.<\/p>\n The series is a Lightbox production and will be executive produced by Lightbox Co-Founders Simon Chinn and Jonathan Chinn alongside Emmy-winning producer Emily Gerson Saines.<\/p>\n Culkin said: \u201cWow, Lightbox. Thanks for reminding me I\u2019m in my 40s. Well, rather than make a big deal about it, I figure we should just make a show about it. Makes sense.\u201d<\/p>\n The Chinns added: \u201cMack remains as iconic, and as loved as ever\u2014a social media sensation, internet entrepreneur and hard-working member of his pizza-themed Velvet Underground tribute band. Despite his legendary status, like the rest of us, he\u2019s having to confront what it means to be a normal middle-aged guy, with a wife and a new kid who\u2019s soon going to be the same age he was when he became a massive global superstar.
