discovery+ has unveiled its new Black Voices hub, which will feature programming spotlighting the African American community.<\/p>\n
The hub will be on the platform year-round and showcase curated series, documentaries and specials.\u00a0Among the discovery+ originals that will be available on the hub is the four-part docuseries Profiled: The Black Man,\u00a0<\/em>premiering on February 12, which examines the origins of the stereotypes that have permeated society and impacted the lives of Black men in America.<\/p>\n Uprooted, which will join the hub when it\u00a0<\/em>premieres on February 18, tells the story of Keith Warren, who was 19 years old when his body was found hanging from a tree in 1986.\u00a0There\u2019s also the cooking competition series The Great Soul Food Cook Off<\/em> and the renovation series Remix My Space with Marsai Martin<\/em>, which are already streaming on discovery+.<\/p>\n Additional titles that will be featured are Love & Marriage Huntsville<\/em>, Black Love<\/em>, Dr. Mercy<\/em>, Home Grown<\/em>, Family or Fiance<\/em>, Burger Truck Brawl<\/em>, Where Do We Go From Here?<\/em>, (In)visible Portraits<\/em>, Super Soul<\/em>, Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall<\/em>, The Legacy of Black Wall Street<\/em>, OWN Spotlight: Oprah + 100 Black Fathers<\/em>, Reno My Rental<\/em>, Ghost Brothers: Lights Out<\/em>, Home Grown<\/em> and Doubling Down with the Derricos<\/em>.<\/p>\n Lisa Holme, group senior VP of content and commercial strategy for Discovery, said: \u201cBlack voices should be celebrated 365 days a year.
