The series will be available to stream in late spring 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Before they get to work on the renovations, McCarthy and Perusich will learn about the heartwarming stories of the exceptional people who were nominated by their loved ones. Propelled by the inspiring accounts and with help from their expert team, the cousins will surprise the homeowners with their renovation reveals.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Great Giveback with Melissa McCarthy and Jenna Perusich<\/em> is produced by Scott Brothers Entertainment, with Drew and Jonathan Scott and McCarthy serving as executive producers.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, McCarthy and Perusich appeared in the HGTV series <em>Celebrity IOU<\/em>, which can be streamed on discovery+.<\/p>\n<p>McCarthy said: \u201cWhen my cousin Jenna and I did <em>Celebrity IOU<\/em> for her parents, we saw firsthand what a positive impact a home renovation can have. In a world where so much emphasis is on the negative, we wanted to show how amazingly kind people can truly be. <em>The Great Giveback<\/em> will introduce you to some remarkable people who have given so much of themselves to others. We can\u2019t wait to shine the light on them.
