{"id":17141,"date":"2021-11-04T09:00:19","date_gmt":"2021-11-04T13:00:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/worldscreen.com\/"},"modified":"2021-11-04T09:15:02","modified_gmt":"2021-11-04T13:15:02","slug":"eone-inks-deal-with-alleycats-films","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/eone-inks-deal-with-alleycats-films\/","title":{"rendered":"eOne Inks Deal with Alleycats Films"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Entertainment One (eOne) and Northern Ireland-based Alleycats Films have signed an exclusive first-look distribution deal.<\/p>\n<p>Ed Stobart, managing director and executive producer at Alleycats, said, \u201cWe\u2019re passionate storytellers, and we want to reach the biggest possible audiences.\u201d\u00a0The initial projects included in the deal to be distributed internationally by eOne are the new BBC Three series <em>The Fast and the Farmer-ish<\/em>\u00a0and <em>The Big Proud Party Agency<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>eOne previously partnered with Alleycats Films\u2019 to distribute BBC Two\u2019s <em>Raiders of the Lost Past with Janina Ramirez<\/em> (known internationally as <em>Lost Worlds and Hidden Treasures<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Other projects produced by Alleycats Films\u2019 are <em>Tiananmen: The People v The Party<\/em> for PBS\/ARTE, <em>How to Defuse a Bomb<\/em> for BBC One\/BBC Four and <em>Helluva Tour<\/em> for Channel 4.<\/p>\n<p>Noel Hedges, executive VP of acquisitions at eOne, said, \u201cAs we continue to bolster our expansive slate of compelling content, this deeper partnership with Alleycats builds on our existing relationship with the company and further strengthens our strategy to partner with top creatives to provide high-end factual content to clients around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stobart added, \u201cAfter a period of rapid growth, we\u2019re delighted to be partnering with eOne in a relationship that will allow us to further expand, building a foothold in the U.S. and new international markets.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Entertainment One (eOne) and Northern Ireland-based Alleycats Films have signed an exclusive first-look distribution deal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1412,"featured_media":17142,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pmpro_default_level":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[69],"tags":[4244,202],"class_list":["post-17141","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","","category-top-stories","tag-alleycats-films","tag-entertainment-one","pmpro-has-access"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.7 -
