He will be responsible for overseeing internal development, commissioning and distribution.<\/p>\n<p>Brown will report to Chief Creative Officer John Farrar.<\/p>\n<p>Ellie Winstanley, series producer on many of the company&#8217;s series for Snapchat and Channel 4, has been promoted to junior executive producer at Future Studios. She will be responsible for external digital commissions on Snapchat and YouTube and Facebook output.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Future Studios is co-producing the Channel 4-commissioned reboot of <em>GamesMaster<\/em>, set to make its return to E4 and social channels later this year, in partnership with Oculus Quest 2 from Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>The company is also in production on three new Future Originals, including an anthology gaming series, a factual series focusing on the paranormal and a true crime series.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to its projects currently in development for linear broadcasters, Future Studios produces over 50 short-form episodes per month across its social media channels.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith several new series in production for our terrestrial, cable and digital clients as well as exciting new projects in development from across Future\u2019s incredible portfolio of media brands, including our GamesMaster reboot, we felt it\u2019s a natural next step to rename the business Future Studios as we look ahead to the next phase of our growth,\u201d said Farrar.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Future has rebranded its factual content business Barcroft Studios as Future Studios and made two team promotions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1412,"featured_media":17029,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pmpro_default_level":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[69],"tags":[3399,5844],"class_list":["post-17028","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","","category-top-stories","tag-barcroft-studios","tag-future-studios","pmpro-has-access"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.7 -
