FOX Entertainment has acquired TMZ and all of its branded linear, digital and experiential assets from WarnerMedia.<\/p>\n
Per the agreement, FOX will own and operate all TMZ properties, including its syndicated magazine programs, TMZ<\/em> and TMZ Live<\/em>, which air on 18 network affiliates owned by FOX Television Stations. It has also picked up the TMZ Sports website and program TMZ Sports<\/em>, which airs on FS1, as well as celebrity tour operations in Los Angeles and New York.<\/p>\n The acquisition also includes TMZ\u2019s celebrity and culture outlet, TooFab.com, and its flagship outlet, TMZ.com.<\/p>\n TMZ Founder and Managing Editor Harvey Levin will remain with TMZ and continue to oversee day-to-day operations for the brand. He will report to Rob Wade, FOX Entertainment\u2019s president of alternative entertainment and specials. FOX Television Stations\u2019 in-house syndication division, FOX First Run, will oversee all program sales, marketing and affiliate relations for TMZ<\/em> and TMZ Live<\/em>, effective immediately.<\/p>\n TMZ has already produced several specials for FOX Entertainment, including Harry & Meghan: The Royals in Crisis<\/em>, Tiger King: What Really Went Down<\/em> and UFOs: The Pentagon Proof<\/em>, which are all currently available on Tubi.<\/p>\n Lachlan Murdoch, executive chairman and CEO of Fox Corporation, said: \u201cThe unique and powerful brand Harvey has created in TMZ has forever changed the entertainment industry, and we\u2019re excited to welcome them to FOX.
