The Rise of the Premier League<\/em>, a new docuseries from Story Films and David Beckham\u2019s new production company, Studio 99.<\/p>\n<p>Commissioned by BBC Two, <em>Fever Pitch! The Rise of the Premier League<\/em> delves into the creation of the league and its rapid evolution into the world\u2019s most high-profile and lucrative sporting competition. The series has been acquired by Amazon for Canada, Australia and New Zealand; RTL for Germany and German-speaking Europe; and Telefonica for Spain, as well as DR Denmark, NRK Norway, SVT Sweden and YLE Finland for the Nordic regions.<\/p>\n<p>Discovery+ has acquired the four-part series for India, while WATCHA will be the exclusive home for the series in South Korea. Further deals in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas are under discussion.<\/p>\n<p><em>Fever Pitch! The Rise of the Premier League<\/em> is set to debut on BBC Two in the U.K. later this year and is distributed globally by All3Media International.<\/p>\n<p>Rachel Job, senior VP of non-scripted content at All3Media International, said: \u201cSince its creation, the English Premier League has captured the hearts of fans around the world, entertaining, enthralling and inspiring billions\u2014and this premium documentary series will offer exclusive insight from those who made that possible. This initial range of deals in Europe, agreed while the show is still in production, is an indicator that <em>Fever Pitch!
