A co-production between Pulse Films, Hulu and Sky, it is directed by Skye Borgman (<em>Abducted in Plain Sight<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>For <em>Dead Asleep<\/em>, Pulse Films secured exclusive access to Herman and his family, the defense and prosecution attorneys, journalists who covered the case, forensic psychiatrists and experts in violent parasomnia (sleep-walking).<\/p>\n<p>Marisa Clifford, an executive producer for Pulse Films, said: \u201cWe are thrilled to be collaborating again with Skye Borgman on another true-crime film. This dark and twisted psychological thriller will offer viewers a ground-breaking spin on this genre, and the exclusive access to the case will allow us to elevate the story to explore a wide range of timely themes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nelesh Dhand, creative director and executive producer at Pulse Films, said: \u201cBeing original in true-crime is becoming harder. But this film has all the key ingredients. It\u2019s a seductive mystery thick with plot twists and turns, but it\u2019s so much more than that. It\u2019s about trust and relationships, alcoholism and mental health, verisimilitudes and veneers.
