UKTV has commissioned Rochelle Humes: Interior Designer in the Making<\/em>, produced by Outline Productions, for its entertainment channel W.<\/p>\n

In this new series, Rochelle Humes invites cameras into her life as she takes her passion for interior decor into the world of professional interior design. It will see her help families transform their homes with a makeover that is fit for the post-pandemic world.<\/p>\n

The ten-part UKTV original series is part-funded by home improvement business Wickes. The series will be distributed worldwide by Blue Ant International and is available for presales. Entertainment business The Story Lab and AFP specialist Clik facilitated the AFP.<\/p>\n

Humes said: \u201cI\u2019ve always loved interiors and the way a home can positively affect your life. Since I was very young, I\u2019ve rearranged rooms, changed color and pattern, and loved renovating and decorating my own homes as an adult. Now I can\u2019t wait to embrace the challenge of helping other people reimagine their own homes for this exciting new series for W with Wickes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kirsty Hanson, UKTV commissioning editor, said: \u201cI am over the moon that Rochelle is coming to W, pursuing an obsession she has had with interiors since a young girl and showcasing her talents in a way we haven\u2019t seen before. This all comes at a time when our homes have never been more important to us or had so much impact on all of our lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

Adam Collings, channel director for W, added: \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to welcome Rochelle to W for this brilliant new series. Being able to follow her on this personal journey into becoming an interior designer is a real treat for our viewers and will no doubt inspire many.\u201d<\/p>\n

Laura Mansfield, executive producer and creative director at Outline Productions, added: \u201cOver the pandemic, we\u2019ve been stuck in our homes and become even more obsessed with them than ever. We\u2019re utterly delighted to be working with Rochelle and the teams at UKTV and Wickes to deliver a gorgeous, inspirational series with real international appeal.\u201d<\/p>\n
