They will also develop and produce projects for other performers.<\/p>\n<p>Cris Abrego, chairman of the Americas for Banijay and president and CEO of Endemol Shine Holdings, and Mo\u2019Nique previously worked together on VH1&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Charm School<\/em> 15 years ago.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ll never forget my first time working with her on <em>Charm School<\/em>, where she made it very clear that there was a lack of diverse faces behind the camera and that things needed to change,\u201d said Abrego. \u201cThat was 15 years ago, and Mo\u2019Nique has been a champion of equality and representation in our industry ever since.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Abrego added, \u201cMo\u2019Nique is an icon in every sense of the word, and I can\u2019t think of anyone who is more relevant and whose authentic voice should be heard right now more than hers.
