Their savvy, creative team has been invaluable in helping our newsroom expand its documentary ambitions. Our goals and mission are aligned in creating films that are truly distinctive, surprising viewers with new perspectives and bringing them stories that have impact across the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>The New York Times Presents<\/em> features a series of standalone documentary films powered by the works of journalists at <em>The New York Times<\/em>. It hails from the same team responsible for the FX and Hulu docuseries <em>The Weekly<\/em> and is produced by <em>The New York Times<\/em> and Left\/Right, a Red Arrow Studios company.<\/p>\n<p>Mary Robertson, executive producer and showrunner for <em>The New York Times Presents<\/em>, said: \u201cWe are enormously proud of this collaboration and are honored to continue to marry rigorous <em>New York Times<\/em> journalism with best-in-class documentary filmmaking.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Framing Britney Spears<\/em> received Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Special and Outstanding Picture Editing for a Nonfiction Program, as well as a TCA Award nomination for Outstanding Achievement in News and Information. <em>The New York Times Presents<\/em> also won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding News\/Information (Series or Special) for <em>The Killing of Breonna Taylor<\/em>.
