Further, both FilmRise and Jetmir are co-financing 20 new episodes of the series.<\/p>\n<p>A 30-minute conflict resolution show, <em>The Mediator<\/em> sees Ice-T seek resolutions between two feuding civilian parties in a court-like platform. The parties present their sides to Ice-T, who will then bring in third-party experts to get their perspectives and advice. Ice-T will then give his recommendation on how they should move forward, which will either end in a settlement or move on to court. <em>The Mediator<\/em> originally aired on FOX TV stations.<\/p>\n<p>FilmRise plans to offer the series to a range of digital platforms, including The Roku Channel, Tubi, Pluto TV and Peacock, among others, as well as its own FilmRise streaming channels.<\/p>\n<p>Max Einhorn, senior VP of acquisitions and co-productions at FilmRise, said: \u201cIce-T\u2019s <em>The Mediator<\/em> is a perfect fit to our expanding slate of celebrity-hosted original series. We look forward to expanding its audience via streaming and creating more original episodes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ice-T comments, host and executive producer, commented: \u201cFew if any TV shows can thrive without multiple outlets, which FilmRise has and maintains globally. We also look forward to their creative input on new episodes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Andre Jetmir, show creator and executive producer, added: \u201cFilmRise has the platforms and reach for immediate market penetration, plus a keen understanding of the AVOD universe needed to make <em>The Mediator<\/em> a hit.
