The series also introduces the passionate people selling the treasured collections they\u2019ve amassed over decades.<\/p>\n<p>UKTV&#8217;s Hilary Rosen, deputy director of commissioning, said: \u201cAt UKTV, we\u2019re delighted to commission <em>Scouting for Toys<\/em> from BBC Studios Production, taking our viewers on a nostalgic journey back to their favorite childhood toys, from Sindy dolls and Thunderbirds figures to Matchbox cars and treasured teddies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday\u2019s channel director, Gerald Casey, said: \u201cYesterday viewers will enjoy learning how toys from their past are valued and witnessing the moment they go under the hammer.
