Five new original titles are set to join the Sky Documentaries slate as it celebrates its first year.<\/p>\n
The newly commissioned feature-length documentaries and series include\u00a0Mother Teresa: For the Love of God?<\/em>, revealing unknown aspects of one of the most recognized yet enigmatic figures in contemporary history. There is also\u00a0The Three Lives of Michael X<\/em>, about the under-reported story of the rise and fall of Michael X, who was once heralded as the U.K.\u2019s answer to Malcom X.<\/p>\n Also joining the slate is Queen of Speed<\/em>, which chronicles French rally driver Mich\u00e8le Mouton\u2019s battle to rise to the top of the male-dominated world of rallying in the 1970s and 1980s. Right to Fight<\/em> tells the untold story of several female boxers who pioneered women\u2019s boxing and defied sexism and racism for their place in the ring in 1970s New York. Lastly, The Scream<\/em> will unravel the art heist that saw Edward Munch\u2019s iconic 1893 painting “The Scream” stolen during the 1994 Winter Olympics in Norway.<\/p>\n Poppy Dixon, Sky\u2019s director of documentaries and factual, said: \u201cIn its first year, Sky Documentaries has seen stellar performances for films and series that cement the channel as the home of world-class and diverse real-life stories that span the globe.
