Off the Fence has appointed Debbie Hinningan as the company\u2019s new head of natural history.<\/p>\n

In her new post, Hinningan will lead the natural history production team, which creates high-end natural-history content for a wide range of international broadcasters such as National Geographic, Discovery, Love Nature, ZDF and ARTE. Hinnigan will be based in Off the Fence\u2019s Bristol office.<\/p>\n

For over 25 years, Hinnigan has worked in most genres of television. After starting in news and current affairs at the BBC in London, she went on to work on flagship children\u2019s shows such as Blue Peter<\/em> and Going Live!<\/em> She then joined the BBC\u2019s Natural History Unit in Bristol, creating and working on both short-form and long-form programs for terrestrial and international broadcasters.<\/p>\n

Allison Bean, managing director of Off the Fence, said: “It is with great excitement that we announce that Debbie Hinnigan will be joining our management team to head up natural history programming. This fantastic genre is growing, and Off the Fence very much looks forward to producing future content, adding Debbie’s huge talent and experience to our production team.”<\/p>\n
