It will launch on FX and Hulu on\u00a0Friday, June 4.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The character-based documentary will capture the influencers as they wrestle with a profound challenge: how can they succeed in a nascent industry that seems tilted to their disadvantage? For a growing number of this in Gen Z, becoming a social media influencer is the preferred path to making it big, and for Black creators, the stakes and hurdles are even higher.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>The New York Times Presents<\/em>, produced by The New York Times and Left\/Right, is a series of standalone documentaries powered by the journalism of <em>The New York Times<\/em>. Each of the ten individual documentaries will air simultaneously on FX and on Hulu.
