{"id":15766,"date":"2021-02-24T11:16:07","date_gmt":"2021-02-24T16:16:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/catalina-content-appoints-svp-content\/"},"modified":"2021-02-24T11:23:08","modified_gmt":"2021-02-24T16:23:08","slug":"catalina-content-appoints-svp-of-content","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/catalina-content-appoints-svp-of-content\/","title":{"rendered":"Catalina Content Appoints SVP of Content"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Sky Studios company Catalina Content has hired executive producer Deborah Allen (<em>Snapped<\/em>, <em>Vengeance<\/em>) to be its new senior VP of content.<\/p>\n<p>Leading Catalina\u2019s current slate, Allen will supervise production and support the creative development of existing shows, including <em>Snapped: Notorious<\/em> (Oxygen), <em>The Killer Truth<\/em> (HLN, HBO Max), <em>Storm of Suspicion<\/em> (The Weather Channel),<em> Sins of the City<\/em> (TV One) and <em>Vengeance<\/em> (HLN), as well as an unannounced series for Animal Planet. She will report directly to Catalina President Jeff Collins.<\/p>\n<p>Allen has produced more than 750 hours of nonfiction programming for a variety of networks, including Oxygen, A&amp;E, Investigation Discovery, National Geographic and History Channel. She joins Catalina from Jupiter Entertainment, where she served as VP of programming.<\/p>\n<p>Jeff Collins said: \u201cAllen\u2019s impressive experience in unscripted storytelling, underscored by her track record of launching a slew of successful hit franchises, is an obvious draw.
