{"id":15676,"date":"2021-02-03T10:19:54","date_gmt":"2021-02-03T15:19:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/autentic-distribution-seals-new-factual-deals\/"},"modified":"2021-02-03T11:04:06","modified_gmt":"2021-02-03T16:04:06","slug":"autentic-distribution-seals-new-factual-deals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/autentic-distribution-seals-new-factual-deals\/","title":{"rendered":"Autentic Distribution Seals New Factual Deals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Germany-based factual distributor Autentic Distribution has secured new sales for its catalog of factual titles, including for <em>The Animal Within<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The six-parter <em>The Animal Within<\/em>\u2014which has traveled from Germany (n-tv) to Spain (TV3\/TVC), Sweden (UR) and Estonia (ERR) in Europe\u2014has been sold into the Middle East and the Asia Pacific, where it has been picked up by Disney\u2019s National Geographic, NHK in Japan and Korea\u2019s EBS.<\/p>\n<p><em>Love Around the World<\/em>\u00a0is being exported to UR in Sweden, Switzerland\u2019s pubcaster SRF, Deutsche Welle, ORF Austria and Estonia\u2019s ERR. The Estonian free-TV channel has also selected <em>Back to Chernobyl<\/em> and <em>The Dyatlov Pass Incident<\/em>. <em>The Dyatlov Pass Incident<\/em> will premiere in the German-speaking region on the pay-TV channel Spiegel Geschichte, while <em>Back to Chernobyl<\/em> has been picked up by Australia\u2019s SBS.<\/p>\n<p>Korea\u2019s free-TV channel EBS has picked up <em>Masai Mara: The Big Hunt<\/em>.<em> Germany\u2019s Mystic Forest<\/em> has been selected by Rai Italia. <em>Last Treasures of the Earth<\/em> was acquired by Spain\u2019s TV3\/TVC and China\u2019s CCTV9\/CCTV4k, which has also licensed <em>The Wild Andes<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Autentic Distribution has further closed a number of streaming deals. Telekom Germany has acquired the football-themed documentary <em>Men of Hope<\/em> and<em> 88 Hours\u2014The Fukushima Meltdown<\/em>. Australia\u2019s Madman Entertainment has picked up a history package for its SVOD platform DocPlay that includes <em>Berlin 1945, Terror!<\/em>\u00a0and <em>What Went Wrong\u2014Countdown to Catastrophe<\/em>. Czech Republic&#8217;s Seznam.cz has licensed VOD rights for an 11-hour package.<\/p>\n<p>Mirjam Strasser, head of sales and acquisitions, said.\u201cEven though 2020 has been so different than expected, we were able to close many great package deals due to our tight client relationships.
