Discovery, Inc. has promoted Lynn Ng to the post of VP and head of content for the Asia-Pacific region.<\/p>\n

In this role, Ng will continue to spearhead the region\u2019s content strategy and acquisitions, as well as content curation, media planning and creative. Ng joined Discovery in 2002 and was involved when the company pioneered non-fiction original productions out of the Asia Pacific, where she executive produced several award-winning series for Animal Planet.<\/p>\n

Simon Robinson, Discovery’s president for AsiaPac, said: \u201cLynn has been a champion of Discovery\u2019s content since joining the organization 19 years ago, and most recently, has done a fantastic job driving our strategy across the Asia Pacific to significant audience growth. As we continue to ramp up our local originals output and pivot our business to cater to changing consumer demands, Lynn\u2019s leadership in this role will be key in building further scale across our ecosystem of products and platforms.\u201d<\/p>\n
