Quintus Studios has acquired several blue-chip documentary titles for its on-demand channels Free Documentary and FD Real.<\/p>\n
Quintus picked up the two-part Masters of Engineering<\/em>, co-produced by France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions and 2P2L, from Lucky You. Combining blue-chip photography with CGI and set in locations across the world, Masters of Engineering<\/em> highlights the history of human ingenuity from developing techniques of construction to designing new technology.<\/p>\n Also joining the slate are the hour-long Exceptional Transportation<\/em>, directed by Anthony Binst and produced by Interscoop, and the one-hour The Challenge of Bridge Maintenance<\/em>, produced by Interscoop, from Ampersand. Exceptional Transportation<\/em> is a behind-the-scenes look at the technological prowess and the incredible machines used to assemble aircraft, and The Challenge of Bridge Maintenance<\/em> looks at highly skilled specialists as they perform maintenance tasks, using advanced techniques on bridges to prevent tragedies.<\/p>\n All three titles will be available on Free Documentary.<\/p>\n The 4×1-hour Extreme Trades<\/em> has been picked up for both its VOD channels Free Documentary and FD Real.
