Itkin will advise on strategy across the group, with a focus on creating and packaging non-scripted content for the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>Plimsoll currently has 18 series in production around the world and has already set up multiple unannounced projects in the U.S. with premium cable networks and streaming platforms.<\/p>\n<p>Itkin spent most of his career as a television packaging agent at William Morris Agency and eventually co-head of television and a member of the board of directors of William Morris Endeavor. There, he was responsible for packaging such global formats and series as <em>Real World<\/em>,<em> Project Runway<\/em>, <em>Hell\u2019s Kitchen<\/em>, <em>Kitchen Nightmares<\/em>, <em>Deal or No Deal<\/em>, <em>Extreme Makeover: Home Edition<\/em>, T<em>yler Perry\u2019s House of Payne<\/em>, <em>Tyler Perry\u2019s Meet the Browns<\/em>, <em>Big Brother<\/em>, <em>Fear Factor<\/em>, <em>People\u2019s Court<\/em>, <em>The Ricki Lake Show<\/em>, <em>American Gladiators<\/em>, <em>Biggest Loser<\/em> and <em>Buffy the Vampire Slayer<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Itkin said: &#8220;I am honored to have been asked by Grant and his incredible team to join the board of Plimsoll. I am very impressed by this dynamic company and what they have accomplished in such a short period of time, and am eager to further expand their U.S. footprint.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mansfield added: \u201cMark Itkin\u2019s stellar track record is testimony to one of the smartest and nicest executives working in our industry.
