Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing<\/em> has been commissioned for a fourth season by BBC Two.<\/p>\n

The next season of 6×30-minute episodes will explore more of the U.K.\u2019s beautiful countryside to seek out the finest fishing spots with Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse. The series will continue to center each episode on catching a key species of fish, with Whitehouse using his extensive knowledge of fishing to guide Mortimer, and with Mortimer hunting out places to stay and creating heart-healthy menus. Directed by Rob Gill, the series is produced by Owl Power for BBC Two.<\/p>\n

Patrick Holland, controller at BBC Two, said: \u201cWith so many rivers left to fish, so many stories to be told, and so many new ways for Bob to fall over, it was inevitable that this glorious series would return. Thank you Bob and Paul for making a truly unique series.\u201d<\/p>\n

Whitehouse said: \u201cThe fish of the U.K. needn\u2019t worry too much as Bob and I return for another series of Gone Fishin<\/em>g. I love Bob and he needs me more than ever so we\u2019re back on the river bank for more high jinks and another series basking in the timeless wonder of the glorious British countryside.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gill added: \u201cI love doing this show and am over the moon to get the chance to go fishing with Paul again. I am already working on heart-healthy recipes to cook and new ways to irritate him.\u201d<\/p>\n
