CuriosityStream has named Bakori Davis, an A+E Networks UK alum, to the newly created position of managing director and head of international.<\/p>\n

Davis will focus on leading the expansion of the brand, currently reaching more than 13 million paying subscribers, across all global markets and platforms. He has oversight of all international commercial operations, including channel distribution, ad sales, marketing, content licensing and the development of digital platforms, and Davis is charged with securing and negotiating new distribution deals and developing strategic business partnerships worldwide.<\/p>\n

He will report to Bill Goodwyn, CuriosityStream’s chief revenue officer and executive VP of strategy, business development and partnerships.<\/p>\n

Most recently, Davis was partner and managing director of the international media services firm Niche Media Global, which he co-founded. Prior to that, Davis was VP of commercial operations at A+E Networks UK.<\/p>\n
