Jupiter Entertainment has entered into an overall partnership with All Def to adapt its library of digital content for television.<\/p>\n
Under the new deal, Jupiter will work with All Def to turn its intellectual property and social media channels into long-form entertainment.\u00a0The companies are currently adapting The Crate<\/em>, a format that challenges music producers to create a beat on the spot with the use of random objects, as well as Bar Exam<\/em>, a format that has hip-hop artists guess the performer of a song based on a few bars of music. Other projects on the slate include the comedy series Dad Jokes<\/em> and the hip-hop music format Traffic Jams<\/em>.<\/p>\n Shaun Newsum and Cedric J. Rogers, co-founders of Culture Genesis, which acquired all assets of All Def last year, will work alongside Jupiter Entertainment President Patrick Reardon and VP of Development Chris Spry on the adaption projects.<\/p>\n Reardon said: \u201cAll Def and Culture Genesis have a history of producing authentic content that promotes Black culture. There\u2019s a clear and immediate need for more quality programming that amplifies the voices of diverse creators.
