B17 Entertainment, an Industrial Media company, has appointed Gregg Moscot, who most recently served as head of production and operations for Discovery Studios, as its executive VP of production and operations.<\/p>\n
Based in Los Angeles, Moscot will oversee the production, post-production and overall day-to-day business operations for the unscripted production company. Previously, he had been overseeing over 150 hours of linear and digital content annually for the Discovery Inc. portfolio. Prior to this role, he served as the VP of production at ITV Studios America.<\/p>\n
Separately, the company promoted production executive Jackie Hakim to the role senior VP of production and operations. Hakim started with B17 Entertainment in\u00a02013. She has since overseen\u00a0Broke Ass Gameshow<\/em> for MTV, Chasing the Cure<\/em> for TNT\/TBS,\u00a0as well as the soon the be released Craftopia<\/em> for HBO Max and The Great Debate<\/em> for SYFY, among others.<\/p>\n Moscot and Hakim are helping to pioneer new production processes for remote filming with series like YouTube\u2019s\u00a0Celebrity Substitute<\/em>\u00a0and Quibi\u2019s\u00a0Last Night\u2019s Late Night<\/em>\u00a0all currently filming under strict safety guidelines.<\/p>\n Founders Rhett Bachner and Brien Meagher said, \u201cGregg\u2019s vast production experience\u00a0and\u00a0strong leadership skills make him a great fit here at B17.
