The film was produced by Sweetwood Films and documentarian Matt Sweetwood (<em>Beerland<\/em>, <em>Forgetting Dad<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>With this acquisition, Rive Gauche Television adds to its extensive catalog of more than 1,700 hours of programming in non-scripted series and documentaries such as <em>My Misdiagnosis<\/em>, <em>I Saw The Unknown<\/em> and <em>Something\u2019s Killing Me<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Sweetwood said: \u201cI am so excited that the world will have the opportunity to watch an epic David and Goliath story about a true pioneer in the world of craft beer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jon Kramer, CEO of Rive Gauche Television, said: \u201c<em>The Beer Jesus From America<\/em> has a compelling central figure, unique subject and great pop culture significance. The film checks off everything audiences love to watch, including a fish out of water element.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Koch added: \u201cThis film is very special to me, as it takes the viewer&#8230;including me&#8230;on the hopeful, aggravating, inspiring and tragically triumphant journey. There\u2019s parts that still fill me with both the ultimate frustration and joy on each viewing.
