{"id":14239,"date":"2020-03-11T10:06:17","date_gmt":"2020-03-11T14:06:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/red-arrow-studios-international-adds-new-factual-series-slate\/"},"modified":"2020-03-11T10:06:17","modified_gmt":"2020-03-11T14:06:17","slug":"red-arrow-studios-international-adds-new-factual-series-to-slate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/red-arrow-studios-international-adds-new-factual-series-to-slate\/","title":{"rendered":"Red Arrow Studios International Adds New Factual Series to Slate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Red Arrow Studios International has secured global distribution rights for three new factual shows, including <em>Life 2.0<\/em>, from a host of award-winning creators, as part of its spring\/summer 2020 slate.<\/p>\n<p>The anthology science title <em>Life 2.0<\/em> is produced by Steve Rotfeld Productions for FOX in the US. <em>Life 2.0<\/em> takes a deep dive into topics like the future of human life extension, the rise of \u201ccyborgism\u201d and the transformative impact of virtual reality, revealing some of the most mind-blowing scientific breakthroughs occurring in the world today.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to <em>Life 2.0<\/em>, the company has acquired the rights to <em>The Secret History of World War II<\/em> and <em>How Factories Changed the World<\/em>. A production for the U.K.\u2019s Channel 5 and Histoire in France, <em>The Secret History of World War II<\/em>, produced by Woodcut Media, is a six-part history docuseries looking at the hidden stories of this devastating war. <em>The Secret History of World War II<\/em> uses firsthand accounts, re-creations and expert interviews to unveil the moving stories lost in the fog of war.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside this is the history series <em>How Factories Changed the World<\/em>, which explores the rise of the factory over the ages. Produced by Wildbear Entertainment for NTV (Germany), the series looks at how the factory has grown from humble beginnings, continuously reinventing itself to remain at the cutting edge of science and design, with each episode delving into at a different industry or innovation: from the evolution of car manufacturing to the role of factories in the rise of mass consumption.<\/p>\n<p>Alex Fraser, executive VP of acquisitions and content investment at Red Arrow Studios International, said: \u201cAll three of our new factual shows are both informative and entertaining, opening new worlds and, through outstanding research, tell untold stories with a real passion for their respective fields.
