Nonfiction producers in the U.S. have ranked HBO as their favorite network to work with, followed by Netflix, Nat Geo WILD, Oxygen and ID, according to a survey by NPACT.<\/p>\n

Rounding out the top ten in the overall category were CNN, History, USA Network, Bravo and A&E.<\/p>\n

The survey by the nonfiction producers trade association ranked 59 networks and platforms across 11 categories. Nat Geo WILD made it into the top ten of more categories than any other network, followed by Netflix and Oxygen in second place and HBO, A&E, Nat Geo, Bravo and CNN in third.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe NPACT survey process over the last four years has gathered and communicated key intel and vital information from the production community, and it\u2019s gratifying to see that resulting in improved relationships between producers and content buyers,” said Michelle Van Kempen, interim general manager of NPACT. “With this year\u2019s addition of ‘most improved’ data across all categories, we\u2019re also pleased that NPACT can provide a forum for those positive changes to be publicly recognized and acknowledged.\u201d<\/p>\n

Netflix topped the list of most improved in the last year, followed by Travel and Discovery Channel. Netflix was the most respected platform, followed by A&E and ID. In the ranking of best to deal with, HBO was on top followed by Sundance, A&E, TBS\/TNT, Nat Geo Wild and History.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
