Mathieu B\u00e9jot has been appointed to undertake the newly created position of director of strategy and development for Sunny Side of the Doc, supporting the late Yves Jeanneau\u2019s son and the current CEO of Doc Services Roman Jeanneau in organizing the event.<\/p>\n
In 2019, B\u00e9jot created Connoisseur Media, a consulting company that focuses on promotion, marketing and co-financing strategy for quality content internationally.\u00a0Previously, he served\u00a0as executive director for\u00a0TV France International between 2000 to 2018. B\u00e9jot began his career as an audiovisual attach\u00e9 for the French Embassy in Canada (1988-1993), Hong Kong (1994-1997) and Japan (1997-2000).<\/p>\n
Doc Services is behind Sunny Side of the Doc and Asian Side of the Doc. Roman Jeanneau has had an active role in the Sunny Side of the Doc organization over the past ten years. The 31st edition of the international marketplace for documentary and narrative experiences will take place from June 22 to June 25 in La Rochelle, France, with the central theme being History.<\/p>\n
