Jupiter Entertainment, a Sky Studios company, has tapped Chris Spry for the role of VP of development and has promoted veteran executives Harrison Land and Todd Moss to senior VPs of the company.<\/p>\n
In his new role, Spry will be based in the New York office and develop unscripted programming for broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. Previously, he served as senior VP of production and development at Hudsun Media, where he developed and produced series such as The Toy Box<\/em> with Eric Stonestreet for ABC and nearly 100 episodes of Returning the Favor<\/em> with Mike Rowe for Facebook Watch. With over a decade of television experience, his other producing credits include Million Dollar Listing<\/em>, Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best<\/em> and Married to Medicine<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cChris brings a wealth of expertise and the perfect development background as we position our efforts to build on these new opportunities,\u201d said Patrick Reardon, president of Jupiter.<\/p>\n In his expanded role, Land will add premium factual content to his growing roster of true-crime projects. Throughout his career, Land has developed and produced over 20 series and specials across a variety of genres for multiple networks, including the recent The Atlanta Child Murders<\/em> (ID), Game Changers with Robin Roberts<\/em> (ABC), God Code<\/em> (History), the Murder Mystery<\/em> series (ID) and Fatal Attraction<\/em> (TVOne), which has aired over 200 episodes. Based in the company\u2019s New York office, Land will report directly to Reardon.<\/p>\n Based in Jupiter\u2019s Knoxville office, Moss has spent over a decade with the company developing and overseeing some of Jupiter\u2019s longest-running series, such as Snapped<\/em> (Oxygen) and Homicide Hunter<\/em> (ID). He was the executive producer of more than 125 hours of programming this past year, including directing and producing the feature-length documentary First to the Pole<\/em> for Discovery and Fourth and Forever: Muck City<\/em> (working title), a docuseries exploring South Florida youth culture.
