Asian Food Network, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific\u2019s pay-TV food channel, has struck a deal with Parade Media for five character-led culinary shows, including the ten-part Luke Nguyen\u2019s Railway Vietnam<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The series centers on the titular chef, who, in the latest installment of his series, takes viewers on a culinary railway journey in Vietnam. Nguyen visits ten locations in the country, from the coastline of Hoi An to the majestic mountains of SAPA. In his own engaging style, he cooks some incredible dishes, incorporating some rather unusual ingredients.<\/p>\n

Also part of the package is Asia Unplated with Diana Chan<\/em> (10×30 min.), which follows the MasterChef Australia<\/em> winner as she explores the local shops, restaurants and markets, providing tips and advice for sourcing ingredients for each dish and cooking up simple but authentic Asian dishes.<\/p>\n

Inside the Box with Jack Stein<\/em> (10×30 min.) sees the British chef immerse himself in cultural and food experiences as he travels around the world to places like Singapore, Bangkok, Zagreb and Lucca. With the help of a local chef, he is challenged to make a new version of a dish that will speak to each place, all from inside his own box kitchen that follows him around the world.<\/p>\n

Other ongoing titles acquired by Asian Food Network from Parade Media\u2019s catalog include Everyday Gourmet with Justine Schofield<\/em> (90×30 min.) and Good Chef Bad Chef<\/em> (65×30 min.).<\/p>\n
