Discovery, Inc. is delivering its ad-supported streaming service dplay in the U.K. and Ireland.<\/p>\n
dplay includes content from Discovery\u2019s flagship free-to-air channels, with dozens of series available in box sets. Titles include Quest\u2019s EFL Highlights<\/em> and Salvage Hunters<\/em>, Quest Red\u2019s Katie Price: My Crazy Life<\/em> and The Bad Skin Clinic<\/em>, Really\u2019s Ghost Adventures<\/em> and Helicopter ER<\/em> and Food Network\u2019s Tom Kerridge: American Feast<\/em> and Rachel Khoo: My Swedish Kitchen<\/em>.<\/p>\n With the U.K. and Ireland, the rollout of dplay\u00a0has now reached ten global markets, with more markets coming online in the near future.<\/p>\n James Gibbons, executive VP, general manager of the U.K., Ireland and ANZ at Discovery UK, said: \u201cWe have nearly doubled the size of our U.K. audience in the last two years\u2014and increased\u00a0our free-to-air scale from two to six channels. The launch of dplay is the next step in our strategy to deliver to British audiences the best real-life entertainment, whenever and wherever they want it.
