Henry will take viewers on a personal journey with some of the people who have helped create and shape Britain\u2019s comedic landscape with their sitcoms, sketches and stand-up comedy.<\/p>\n<p><em>Lenny Henry\u2019s Race Through Comedy<\/em> is set to air on Gold in the fall. Henry will explore shows like <em>Rising Damp<\/em>, <em>Desmond\u2019s<\/em>, <em>Goodness Gracious Me<\/em> and <em>Chewing Gum<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Iain Coyle, head of comedy entertainment, said: \u201cI\u2019m proud to be involved in this project. It\u2019s funny, entertaining and educating. There\u2019s amazing insight and some brilliant clips.
